After much speculation, Sony and Naughty Dog have confirmed The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. An enhanced version of Ellie’s second adventure heads to PlayStation 5. It will be released on 1/19/2024. PS4 owners will be able to upgrade for a reduced price and carry over their progress. The price will be 10 dollars/euros (approx. 250 CZK).
Pre-orders start on 12/5. The PC version has not been announced at this time, although it is more than likely that the game will arrive on PC in the future when The Last of Us Part 1 is available there.
Fans are invited to cut playable sequences in three levels from the game’s early development, which will not only allow you to see the world of Part 2 from new perspectives. A developer’s commentary gives them a richer context. Director Neil Druckmann, Head Narrative Halley Gross and actors Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey will accompany you through the campaign as well.

The second attraction is survival mode No Return in roguelike style. You’ll play as a variety of unlockable characters, some of which have never been playable before in The Last of Us series, and each has unique gameplay characteristics to suit a different playstyle. A variety of challenges await you with different enemies in memorable areas from the second installment, culminating in boss fights. The goal is to get as far as possible.
The third attraction is režim Guitar Free Playin which you will use your musical potential, and new Speedrun Mode. Some may also be pleased with the new unlockable character and weapon skins for Ellie and Abby.

Graphics will be enhanced, including native 4K output in Fidelity Mode and 1440p upscaled to 4K in Performance Mode. There will be the ability to unlock frames per second for TVs and monitors that support VRR, the DualSense controller will be fully utilized, and thanks to SSDs and optimizations, game load times are reduced.
It will be available in selected markets W.L.F. Edition with steelbook and other bonuses. It will be sold in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Austria.
