3. Relive the “Chernobyl” disaster
During its five episodes, Chernobyl retrace the story of the terrible Chernobyl nuclear disaster, which occurred on April 26, 1986. Valery Legasov, played by Jared Harris, is in charge of investigating the causes of the explosion, which is not easy since the Ukrainian government is trying to cover up the affair and all its consequences . Chernobyl So plunges us into this tragedy and tries to transcribe the events as close as possible to reality, despite certain artistic freedoms. 4. Discover the case of the “Five of Central Park” in “In their eyes”
In their eyes is a mini-series that tells the true story of the “Central Park Five”. On the evening of April 19, 1989, a jogger was found unconscious after being raped in the famous New York park. The police in charge of this case have no clue concerning the culprit (s). They will therefore accuse five young adolescents of color, who were in Central Park at the time of the facts.
The police will then push them to confess a crime they did not commit. In their eyes So follows these five defendants during the trial, their lives in prison, and how they tried to rebuild themselves after this story. We find in the casting Felicity Huffman, the ex-housewife of Desperate Housewives, which has come a long way since the end of the cult series.

5. Try your luck at the movies with “Hollywood”
Before realizing Ratched for Netflix, Ryan Murphy, the daddy of American Horror Story, has realised Hollywood. We follow a certain Jack Castello, played by David Corenswet, who dreams of a career in Hollywood. Unfortunately, the competition is tough, but he is determined to make his hole in the middle. He will then join a kind of illegal prostitution network, and one thing leading to another, he will meet well-known people in the field.
Fiction does not hesitate to criticize this industry. Several subjects are treated there, like racism in Hollywood, since the miniseries is set right after World War II, a time when people of color unfortunately had no opportunities to succeed in cinema. Homosexuality is also evoked through the character of Jake Picking, who is forced to hide his sexual orientation so as not to be banned from Hollywood.
