Djokovic’s couple had no symptoms. After returning from the Adriatic tour tournament in Zadar, Novak and Jelena are in their own homes.
It has already been reported that Dovovic, the organizer of the Adriatic tour Covid-19, was found by several tennis players – Djokovic himself, Grigori Dimitrov, Born Chorič and Viktor Troickis. The tournament took place with full grandstands, regardless of physical distance.
The tennis players also shook hands, played basketball and took part in a crowded nightclub in Belgrade. Djokovic then apologized, bitterly regretting that his cherished tournament had caused such damage.
Djokovic’s coach Goran Ivanishevich also became infected with Covid-19.
On Wednesday, Djokovic announced that he would donate 40,000 euros to the Serbian city of Novi Pazar, which suffered greatly during the coronavirus pandemic. In Serbia, with a population of around seven million, some 15,000 cases have been reported and 281 people have died.
