Benfica’s main team held, on Friday morning, at Seixal’s training ground, a training game against team B. Nélson Veríssimo’s men won 4-0.
Without the 10 players called up to the respective teams (Vlachodimos, Otamendi, Darwin Núñez, Weigl, Valentino Lázaro, Nemanja Radonjic, Gonçalo Ramos, Paulo Bernardo, Henrique Araújo and Tomás Araújo), Nélson Veríssimo lined up the following eleven: Helton Leite, Gilberto, Pedro Álvaro, Morato, André Almeida, Zan Jevsenak, Meité, João Mário, Gil Dias, Diogo Gonçalves and Yaremchuk.
Ukraine’s Yaremchuk, who has been through a troubled period due to the war in his country, scored twice. Diogo Gonçalves and Seferovic, who played for about 15 minutes, after being reinstated this week in the team’s work, completed the scoring.
