Igor Tudor, coach of Marseille, revealed that left-back Nuno Tavares will miss the meeting with Paris Saint-Germain, on Wednesday night, counting for the round of 16 of the French Cup.
The Portuguese winger is dealing with a muscle problem in one thigh and will be absent from the pitch for “one to two weeks”, as advanced by the Croatian coach. That said, Nuno Tavares is also in doubt for the matches against Clermont (11th) and Toulouse (19th), both for Ligue 1.
The Portuguese under-21 international is in France on loan from Arsenal and has had an excellent season (five assists in 26 games), having been chosen for the best eleven in the first round of Ligue 1.
