The 6-0 victory over Leeds, at Anfield Road, for the Premier League, was effusively celebrated by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, and the German admitted he was “excited” during the celebrations.
“At that time I got carried away and that is something that, recently, has not happened to me very often. But it was something that happened and I think there was no harm in that particular moment. I really liked the way the whole stadium responded and the way we played as a unit. I couldn’t be more grateful to the fans for their support, I’m happy because nights like these don’t always happen, obviously, but every now and then we can offer them performances like this”, declared the German coach.
