Sporting drew level in the visit to Alverca (1-1), in a game counting for the seventh round of the youth champion qualification. It was the final stop in a streak of four consecutive victories for the lions.

Tiago Augusto (5′) opened the scoring for the leonine team, but Guilherme Machado (32′) restored equality for the Ribatejo team.

With this draw, Sporting is in second place with 11 points, three behind FC Porto (tie with Estoril) and six behind leader Benfica (tie with SC Braga). Alverca is in sixth position with six points.
