This Sunday, Vizela welcomes Belenenses SAD, in a delayed match due to the Covid-19 outbreak that affected the blue team at the beginning of December. The coach of Vizelenses, Álvaro Pacheco, recalled that when the postponement of the match was determined, his team was strong and not so worn out.
“We were at our maximum strength. Lately, we’ve had more games… If anyone was harmed, it wasn’t Belenenses SAD, it was us. But it was the regulations that dictated it”, he said, noting that, now, the opponent, “with the new coach, is stronger than a month ago”.
Still, the coach does not disarm and wants to enter the new year in the best possible way: “We intend to offer our club victory for the 83 years celebrated today. We’ll try to maintain our identity, we have to know how to be alert at every moment of the game so that we don’t suffer the setbacks we’ve suffered.”
