Marítimo was surprised by the decision of the Regional Government of Madeira to prohibit the presence of supporters in the derby between Marítimo and Nacional, a game scheduled for Saturday, at 8.30 pm, at Estádio do Marítimo. “Marítimo da Madeira learned today of the decision transmitted by the Regional Government, in a press conference, of not allowing public access to Marítimo’s stadium in the match of the 6th round of the NOS League. Later, at 17:37 hours, the decision by IASAUDE was formally notified to us. So far, what we knew was the challenge that was thrown at us by the Regional Government itself, in a session attended by the President of the Maritime of Madeira, José Carlos Rodrigues Pereira, and the tutelage Secretary, Dr. Pedro Ramos, accompanied by his team , and subsequently, the Maritime and Health technicians continued their work, defining procedures and safety conditions to proceed with the operation.
