Vienna (OTS) – A war on European soil, a global pandemic and the consequences of these crises have challenged and changed Europe in recent years. While states seek solutions to current challenges at national level, Europe strives for a sustainable future in times of uncertainty. The 4th Salzburg Summit is therefore characterized by economic and technological change, which is of crucial importance for the development of European potential. EU Budget Commissioner Johannes Hahn and IV President Georg Knill will open the conference and explain their views on current global challenges. In addition, Anton Zeilinger, quantum physicist and Nobel Prize winner, Maia Sandu, President of the Republic of Moldova, Thierry Breton, EU Commissioner for Internal Market and Services, Martin Kocher, Minister for Economic Affairs and Labor Austria and Paolo Gentiloni, EU Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Monetary Affairs, Sim Ann, Minister of State of Singapore, will also take part in the Salzburg Summit as initiators and discussants.
