Soebronto Laras was born in Jakarta on October 5 1943. The man who is familiarly called Yonto is the second child of R. Moerdono. Yonto has a wife named Herlia Emmi Yani, who is the daughter of the late General Ahmad Yani. From that marriage they were blessed with two children.
