PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) recorded extraordinary sales at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2023. They successfully sold 1,517 vehicles during the 11 days of the exhibition. What models are most sought after?
Randy R. Murdoko, Asst. to Dept. Head of 4W Sales PT SIS explained, 35 percent of all Suzuki sales at GIIAS 2023 were contributed by the hybrid variant. While the XL7 hybrid became the best-selling model by contributing 36.2 percent of total sales, followed by the Carry with 21.2 percent and the Ertiga with 16.2 percent.
“The GIIAS 2023 exhibition which was successfully held yesterday is an important momentum for Suzuki, because at this exhibition Suzuki provides education about hybrid technology to visitors. We also see a positive response from the public for Suzuki hybrid vehicles,” said Randy through his official statement, quoted. Saturday (26/8).

During the 11 days of the exhibition, Suzuki’s booth was claimed to have been visited by 200 thousand people. They are here to look around and buy vehicles that are dominated by hybrid models.
It is known that Suzuki exhibited 10 units of cars at the annual exhibition, namely the Grand Vitara, New XL7 Hybrid, All New Ertiga Hybrid, Baleno, Jimny, Ignis and S-Presso as representatives of Suzuki’s efficient and environmentally friendly brand image.
“Suzuki really appreciates and thanks all the visitors who have come to the Suzuki Indonesia booth during GIIAS 2023. We hope that innovation and car sales during the GIIAS 2023 exhibition reflect expectations for the development of the automotive industry,” said Randy.

Unlike other Japanese brands, Suzuki did not launch new products at the GIIAS 2023 exhibition. They only refreshed Suzuki Baleno by adding two new features, namely a 360 camera and a 9-inch touch screen.
