Sienna Miller is angry about the criticism she has received for being pregnant at the age of 41. The actress announced on Wednesday that she is expecting a girl with her 27-year-old boyfriend and fellow actor Oli Green. The actress also received a lot of criticism for the fact that she is fourteen years older than her partner.
“That it would be irresponsible for people to speak of ‘the poor child’ – it’s such double standards,” Miller says in the Vogue podcast. “It’s just an annoying and easy target. But I think it’s absurd.”
Miller, who already has an 11-year-old daughter from another relationship, did not plan to become pregnant. “It happened as a total surprise and apparently it’s something my body can do,” said Miller, who is due this month. “And I just think that judgment is so one-sided and it’s so sad.”
