Rising Saudi Artist Adwaa Badr Makes Waves at Red Sea Film Festival and Joins International Program

Al-Marsad newspaper: Rising Saudi artist Adwaa Badr attracted attention during her appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah.

During the festival, she attended the screening of her film “Nakala,” which was previously shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, and this film is her first cinematic experience.

The movie “Nakala” deals with the story of the young woman Sarah, played by rising star Adwaa Badr, who sneaks out of her parents’ house to go out on a date with Saad (Yazid Al-Majoul), but finds herself in a thorny situation after a dangerous turn of events. As the events of the film develop, Sarah faces many obstacles. She is stranded on the sand dunes in the city of Riyadh and finds herself face to face with a raging camel.

Adwaa was also chosen among the stars who will join the Rising Artists Program, which includes new acting talents from all over the world, thus becoming the first Saudi artist to join it.
