Investigators found that refugees were most often driven out of the country on a black route, as the traffickers called it in slang, a few kilometers from the Kalotina border checkpoint and with much weaker security than the Bulgarian-Turkish border.
As early as last week, Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov told parliament that the services were developing 22 groups for trafficking in migrants.

The second country through which illegal migrants enter our country is Greece, but their number is literally insignificant compared to those from Turkey. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that after Athens erected a 40-kilometer fence on our border, the traffic from there dropped sharply.
