A woman was attacked and beaten in the capital. She was in torn clothes and tied with “pig tails” to the railing of the block where she has lived alone for years.
The criminal incident took place in the housing cooperative at 114 Todor Kableshkov Blvd. in the “Manastirski Livadi” district of Sofia.
The attacked woman was a protected witness of the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office in a landmark case. She was under constant guard because of threats to her life, News24sofia.eu reported.
A call to 112 was made by a neighbor of the beaten woman, whose name is Bistra. Police and an “Emergency” team, as well as representatives of the prosecutor’s office, are on the scene.
