Nearly 500 homes were without electricity Thursday morning on the North Shore due to equipment failure. The majority of outages are in Haute-Côte-Nord, with 477 customers without power.

In the MRC du Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, 15 customers were also without electricity Thursday morning.

According to Hydro-Québec’s Info-pannes website, power should be restored to the majority of homes between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. depending on the sector.
