Former head of the European Council, ex-prime minister of Poland and leader of the largest opposition party Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, was deprived of his driver’s license for three months. The politician said this on Twitter on November 20.

“Adequate. I accepted it without discussion,” he wrote, adding that he also received a fine along with ten penalty points.

Tusk’s car moved through the village in the Vishnevo area near the town of Mlawa at a speed of 107 km / h, while they have a speed limit of 50 km / h, spokesman for the police headquarters Mariusz Czarka said, writes the Polish portal Dziennik.

Rzeczpospolita also clarifies that, according to Polish law, the law allows to deprive the driver of the driver’s license for speeding within settlements for three months in the event of the first violation, the repeated violation entails the deprivation of rights for six months, the third time the right to drive a car is deprived for life.
