“The flu vaccine is effective for one year, and for optimal protection, it needs to be repeated once a year because the dominant flu virus strain or strain in circulation can change. With vaccination, people will be protected from the flu, and if they still have the flu, the symptoms and consequences will not be as severe as those without the vaccine,” he said.

He added, it is necessary to pay attention, children are an age group that is susceptible to contracting the flu which reaches 20 to 30 percent or higher than adults who only have a 5 to 10 percent chance.
