Police Fatally Shoot Alleged Perpetrator of Brooklyn Double Homicide

Police fatally shoot the alleged perpetrator of a double homicide that occurred in Brooklyn on Sunday.

According to the NYPD, this morning, shortly after 7 am, uniformed officers identified the vehicle of Jason Pass, identified as the main suspect in fatally shooting two men.

When Pass exited the vehicle, he attempted to flee while holding a knife.

Officers chased him for several blocks until he was surrounded.

At that moment the subject charged at the officers, still with the knife in his hand, for which they shot him four times.

The man was alive when he was transported to the hospital, but later died.

Bladimy Mathurin, 47, and her stepson Mode Chinwai, 27, were found shot in the head and torso on Sunday night in the fourth-floor hallway of a residential building located on Brooklyn Avenue in East Flatbush.

According to the NYPD, Pass was a neighbor of the victims and would have committed the murder motivated by noise complaints.
