There was no shortage of Paul’s fans of film music – a lot of well-pollinated couples flocked to the concert, among them was President Raimonds Vējonis with First Lady Iveta, former President Valdis Zatlers and his wife Lilita, stage diva Laima Vaikule. After the concert, the invited guests also gathered at the banquet, chatting in social conversations.

In the retrospective of Raimonds Pauls’ cinematic music, pages from such films as “My friend is a frivolous person”, “Long Road in the Dunes”, “Mill of Fate”, “Gift for a Lonely Woman”, “Homo Novus” were explored. and many other films that have become classics, where Raimonds Pauls’ handwriting shines with jazzy lyrics, whimsical rhythms and a palette of Latvian moods unique to him. But above all – Paul’s music’s charming melody and unbeatable piano touch.

The summer season of Dzintari Concert Hall was opened with this concert. It will include “Jurmala Festival”, “20th International Ballet Festival”, “Summertime – invites Inese Galante”, “Laima Rendezvous Jurmala”, “Artissimo”, as well as the new festival “Riga Jurmala”. In addition to the festivals, of course, there will be other concerts – pianist Denis Matuyev, Boris Grebenshchikov and the band “Akvarium”, Leonid Agutin, Garik Sukachov, Grigory Leps, Ani Loraka, Kazakh beatmaker Jah Khalib, Ukrainian singer and dance hit artist many other artists.
