The first women’s monobobic competition in history will be seen on the Lake Placid track next season. This decision was taken after consultation with the IBSF member federations as well as the organisation’s executive committee.
Next season, the world championships in women’s / men’s bobsleigh doubles, men’s bobsleigh quadruples, women’s / men’s skeleton, mixed teams, parasailors, as well as women’s monobobs will take place in Lake Placid.
Significantly, in 2022, women’s monobobic discipline will also make its debut at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
2020/2021 The first stage of the season is planned for the last week of November in Sigulda.
