Dpeople died and at least six were injured while recording a video clipin Houston, in what would have been a ‘drive by’ gunfire – the perpetrators hit the car scene, fired and fled without ever leaving the car.
Harris County Police indicated that authorities were called to a residential neighborhood around 9:30 pm local time to respond to a shooting alert.
Upon arrival, two young people were already dead and several injured. Four people were transported to the hospital and two others were admitted by their own feet to hospital units.
The group was in a parking lot of an office complex where they were recording a video clip for a rap song. They were reportedly “ambushed” by the “car and foot” shooters who fired into the park, officials said, cited by CNN.
The shooting is under investigation, warning authorities that this investigation should be complex because of the size of the crime scene. Police do not confirm whether the incident is related to gangs.
Neither was the name of the artist or artists involved in the recording of the video clip.
