Maybelline New York signs Storm Reid as an international brand ambassador

New York (ots/PRNewswire) Maybelline New York, the world’s leading cosmetics brand, is pleased to announce that actress, producer and changemaker Storm Reid is its new global brand ambassador. In addition to the current brand ambassador Gigi Hadid, Reid is another powerhouse talent who will share his insights with the global community of the brand.

Storm first starred in the star-studded film adaptation of The time puzzle (2018). She has also been in roles for film and television such as 12 Years of Sklave (2013), Don’t Let Go (2019), When They See Us (2019), The Bravest Knight (2019) and The Invisible One (2020). Next she will be in the movies The Suicide Squad and One Way and her role as Gia on the second season of the HBO hit Euphoria bring back to life. Together with her mother, Robyn Simpson, Storm started her own production company, A Seed & Wings. In doing so, she wants to promote authentic storytelling that makes a statement, capitalizes on honesty and reflects the perspectives of all people. You have several projects in the pipeline and recently launched a new series of conversations on Facebook Watch called Chop It Up, also hosted by Storm.

Storm is committed to social change on its various platforms and with its Bamazing initiative, which campaigns for the next generation. She advocates issues such as racial equality, mental health and inclusion and regularly supports projects that support these concerns.
