A new wave of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in Ukraine is predicted for autumn-winter. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko at a briefing on Friday, June 18.
We predict that, potentially, if there are no additional mutations of the virus, then growth can occur in the autumn-winter period, as in flu and flu-like diseases. Therefore, we urge everyone who has reached their turn to go and get vaccinated, “the minister said.
He also explained why quarantine restrictions are being weakened in Ukraine now – if tightened with strict restrictions, they will no longer be observed.
