Jesus from Aitos, returned a year ago lost wallet with money: I have everything

A year ago Jesus from Aytos returned a wallet with BGN 140 and a debit card, although he lives in poverty, in a dilapidated house, together with his mother and 7 siblings. Today, there is electricity in his home, and people, touched by his noble deed, do not stop sending aid to his family, reports BNT.

15-year-old Jesus goes to school, but has already started working. And although he has been working since he was young because the family needs money, he says that if he found money on the street again, he would not hesitate to return it again. If you do good once, your destiny pays off – this is what Jesus’ family was convinced of after his noble deed that changed their lives.

“Everyone knows him and loves him. Edna gave me BGN 40. I took flour, beans, and lentils to make for the children. We have electricity, we get it from the neighbor,” says Fanka Georgieva, Jesus’ mother.

And Jesus’ dream has not changed – to become a police officer, like the local inspector Matei Tonchev, whom the 15-year-old boy admires and emulates.

“Basically, I don’t think I’m an example. I do my job, what I’m assigned and what I have to do,” says inspector Tonchev.

For 20 years, he not only patrols the outskirts of Aitos, but also helps its residents. “We hope that with this we can achieve at least a little bit of change in people,” he says.

It’s been a year and Jesus is an example among his peers.

“Jesus is a very bright child, very calm in general and absolutely with a sense of dignity. Quite a few children decided that they want to follow his example. Naturally, it’s good and not only for this community, it’s generally good for absolutely the whole society “, said Neli Georgieva, “Children’s Pedagogical Room” inspector.

Until last year, Jesus had not eaten cake and dreamed of trying what it was like. Touched by the story, students from Burgas gave him a birthday cake a year ago. In a few days, Jesus will turn 16, and to complete the celebration, he received a cake again – this time from our team. The police have also prepared a special gift for him, but Jesus remains modest and only asks for one thing.

“I’m healthy, healthy,” he claims.

And when asked what he always wanted to have, but he doesn’t have it, he answers: “Nothing, we have everything.”
