Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Citizens in Freiburg largely adhered to the so-called ban on entering groups for public places at the weekend. There were exceptions, however, as the police held on Sunday afternoon. The officers are deployed with increased presence to ensure compliance with the Corona regulation, said a police spokesman. So there were several missions between Saturday morning and Sunday morning. A total of around 50 violations were found. Criminal and administrative fine proceedings have been initiated in a low double-digit range.
The police also closed at least ten stores. Most of them were hairdressing salons. An ice cream parlor had to be closed in Freiburg, the operator of which refused to comply with the order. In some cases, meetings of smaller groups in public places had to be canceled. For the most part, people showed understanding and followed the orders, the police spokesman emphasized.
In the Rheinfelden area, the police found out about a corona party announced on the Internet. Police patrols, however, could not find an increased number of people. Two alleged corona parties were reported to the police in the Waldshut district. When the strips arrived, the celebrants were no longer there. In another case in the district, a private celebration with several people was dissolved.
