17-year-old Lyubomira Georgieva, one of the three girls who disappeared from a family-type crisis accommodation center in Varnaruns away not for the first time, her mother Stanislava Georgieva told BNT.
She said the teenager was placed in the center last year because of systematic running away from home and suspected drug use. A year ago, the mother turned to the Child Protection Agency for help.
“She studied until the 10th grade, she finished, when it was time to become the 11th grade she refused to study. Problems started at home, systematic running away, suspicion of drug use. That’s why I sought help from “Child Protection” because I found , that I can’t handle it alone”, explained Stanislava Georgieva.
Lubomira has the right to speak to her mother by phone twice a week.
“We have the right to talk every Tuesday and Friday. The last time was last Friday. She was fine, she was cheerful. She had two months left to go home. She appeared for exams, started studying by correspondence. From then on, she was lost from Saturday to lunch,” says the mother.
Lyubomira’s mother is posting photos on social networks asking everyone to help with information about the girl.
“I am receiving information that she was detected in Provadia, in Burgas I received a call that she was seen today, from Suvorovo, from Povelyanovo, from Dobrich, but at this stage without results. To find her, at least to know that she is alive! “

Police are still looking for the three girls. “Addresses are being checked, the places where they once stayed are being checked and the search continues,” said senior commissioner Atanas Mihov – director of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Varna.
The police urge anyone who has information about the girls to call 112 or the nearest office of the Ministry of the Interior.
