De Blasio Announces 10,000 New Cleaning Jobs in NYC

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio stressed that the municipal government will continue its efforts to reach the aging community. For the time being, the pilot program in which older adults can be inoculated just by arriving at the vaccination center will be expanded. Of the 3 sites that currently have, this week will be 25 that have these characteristics.

Regarding the inoculation campaign in the city, he announced that the mobile vaccination centers will start their operations today. The program consists of 20 buses that will travel the streets and will be able to administer between 150-200 doses daily. The vehicles will give priority to the most vulnerable residents and the first week will be dedicated to restaurant employees and ‘deliveristas’.
