76 new cases have been detected in Riga, and the total two – week cumulative number of cases in the capital is 1655.
A significant number of cases was detected in Daugavpils on Saturday – 60. Currently, there are 346 cases in the city.
The number of patients in Talsi region has almost doubled, where 15 new cases have become known, the total number of patients in 14 days reaching 32.
There are currently 47 patients in Jēkabpils, and 12 of them were detected on Saturday. In Daugavpils region, eight new cases of Covid-19 are known, the number of cases reaching 42.
There are six new patients in Aglona region and Jelgava, where a total of 24 and 41 people have become ill in the last two weeks, respectively. Five more are infected in Valmiera, the total number of cases reaching 29.
It has already been reported that 215 new cases of Covid-19 were discovered in Latvia last day, but three patients have died.
So far, a total of 8,095 people have been confirmed with Covid-19 in Latvia, while 1,466 people have recovered from Covid-19. To date, a total of 99 deaths have been reported in patients with confirmed Covid-19 infection.
