World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic will be released this summer and the developers recently told us what options there will be for the players’ characters. More specifically, it will be possible for players to clone their WOW: Classic characters so that they will be available in regular Classic and Burning Crusade Classic. However, this clone has a price and was initially $ 35. This was something fans were not happy with and showed a lot of dissatisfaction. So much so that Blizzard has now backed down and announced that cloning will only cost $ 15. In a post, Blizzard’s community manager writes this:
“However, over the last week or so, we’ve gotten a very large amount of feedback from the community, and we’ve decided to lower the price. A lower price will likely still accomplish our goals with the new service, while allowing many more players to explore the option of playing characters on both Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic realms.”
World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic will be released on June 1, but next week a pre-patch for the expansion will be released. Once this is installed, you will have to choose whether your character should stay on the vanilla server or switch to Burning Crusade. And if you want the character in both places, just shell out $ 15.
