A video posted on social media showing several teenage girls beating and threatening their peers has sparked outrage. The violent footage was shot a week ago in a courtyard in Radnevo, BNT reported.
The incident occurred after classes in the Radnevo school. Four girls attack their classmate with insults, threats, kicks and slaps. The footage shows the teenage girls enjoying beating up the girl, who she doesn’t even try to defend herself.
The video also reveals the reason for the beating: the victim’s intention to report that her attackers were smoking weed.
Ivan Radev: “The reason is that they use some substances. I found out that she wanted to tell her teacher, her class, and they threatened her not to tell.”
It turns out that the ninth grader was systematically bullied by her classmates. Her parents only found out after watching the clip.
Valeria Ivanova – mother of the injured girl: “They constantly harassed her and finally beat her. She doesn’t want to go to school. She’s scared, she’s angry, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
The Child Protection Agency has already launched an investigation into the case.
