A new version of the infamous fake documentary Faces of Death is apparently underway from Legendary Entertainment. The original film from 1978 was more or less a collection of clips that showed people who died in different ways. Because the film was presented as a documentary, many people thought that what they saw was real.
This new version will be made by the people behind the Netflix movie Cam from 2018. The movie will be about a moderator on a YouTube-like site whose job is to sift out violent content. She encounters a bunch of clips from a group trying to recreate the murders from the original film and the moderator has a hard time deciding if the murders are carried out for real or are fake.
