The Portuguese Liliana Cá ensured qualification for the final of the disc’s launch at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, after reaching 62.85 meters in the second test, reaching eighth place in qualifying.
Liliana Cá, 34 years old, started in Group B of the competition with 57.70, after having a 62.85 and a “null”, guaranteeing a place among the 12 that will go to the final, scheduled for Monday at 8 pm locations (12 hours in Lisbon).
In turn, Irina Rodrigues reached the 57.03 meter mark in qualifying and missed the final, with 25th place.
