According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Christian Eriksen is in Milan awaiting medical examinations. And if, as the medical department of Inter and the Danish national team hopes, the results of these tests are positive, within a month the attacking midfielder, 29, can start training in his country.
Three months after a dramatic moment that marked Euro-2020, Eriksen rides his bike, goes hiking, goes to the park with his children and anxiously awaits the clinicians’ approval before returning to training.
For those who don’t remember, Eriksen went into cardiac arrest during Denmark-Finland, on June 12, in Copenhagen, in the first round of the Euro-2020 group stage.
Eriksen eventually regained consciousness while still on the pitch and was later subjected to surgery, where an internal defibrillator was installed.
