A photojournalist working for the newspaper O Jogo was attacked on Sunday night, shortly after the game between SC Braga and Arouca (2-0). The incident has already led to the reaction of the club from Braga.
Here is the statement:
«SC Braga repudiates any and all acts of violence and, therefore, censures the behavior verified in an elevator at Estádio Municipal de Braga after the match against FC Arouca, the result of an altercation between two individuals. This behavior becomes particularly serious when the offended person is someone duly accredited to carry out their professional duties.
SC Braga has already directly expressed its support and solidarity with the offended person and has already taken steps to determine responsibilities, showing itself, from the outset, fully available to collaborate with the authorities in order to quickly identify the alleged aggressor.»
