The new year has just begun, and already the starry sky has been spread by several celebrities. Sadly, she blackened theaters, film studios, and sports teams. This January is not saving even the most famous.
The beginning of the year became fatal for example, director Dušan Klein, which was behind the endless series Street. Of the Czech films, the adored series Poets, the smiling comedy Wedding on the Battlefield or the drama Good Pigeons Return are due to him. He died after a long illness on Sunday, January 9, at the age of 82.
With Klein’s departure, however, the wounds inflicted on the world of film do not end. They went to acting heaven shortly after Rafael Pražák a Viktor Vrabecwho met in the comedy Once Upon a Cop II. They were not idle either. Rafael Pražák starred in the series Assassination and the Blue Code, for example, while The Sparrow shone in films such as The Last Butterfly or Me, Olga Hepnarová. Pražák died on December 11, two days after his 58th birthday. The sparrow followed him on January 2, at the age of eighty.
In addition to the silver screen, both actors also made a name for themselves on the stage. Rafael Pražák played at the Vinohrady Theater and the National Theater, where Kristián of Cyran of Bergerac was one of his most famous roles. Viktor Vrabec was a long-time member of the Pod Palmovkou Theater, where he played an immense number of classical theater roles over the years.
Music fans they remember the bassist and lyricist Pavel Chrastina. The founding member of the legendary Olympic band died on December 28. At the funeral, which was attended by dozens of friends and colleagues, they played songs that he composed during his time in the band.
On the same day Chrastina set out on his final journey, he announced the death of the writer Stanislav Rudolf and his son. The author of books for adults and children, among whom the famous Metráček stands out, died on January 8 at the age of 89.
The family of hockey player Jaromír Jágr did not escape grief either. At the age of only 40, his niece Naďa Kallová succumbed to leukemia just before the end of the year. Her late brother’s brother Jiří announced her departure on the instagram.
