20 minutes – Electronic Arts bans pro FIFA player for life

The pro player Kurt Kurt0411 Fenech, a youtuber follower of the FIFA football simulation license, has gone too far for Electronic Arts. The famous publisher has imposed a rare sanction on him by banishing him from all his online games and services. Relations were already very tense between the two parties due to the aggressive behavior and insults uttered by the youtubeur against company employees and other players for a year. In November 2019, EA had already banned it from all FIFA 20 competitions after a series of violations of the Code of Conduct of the American publisher. During a stream, the young man, for example, went so far as to spit on the company logo after having insulted his opponent against whom he had equalized the end of a match.

Since then, Kurt has continued to post abusive and threatening messages and videos to EA employees and players on social media, encouraging others to follow his example. His messages have exceeded the limits of decency to become very personal attacks, in violation of our conditions of use, can we read in a press release from the company. On Twitter, the player banned by EA said he had nothing to blame.

As a reminder, EA employees’ Twitter accounts were recently hacked in favor of Kurt0411, while last week Kurt Fenech said on YouTube that all employees who have worked on the latest EA games should be out of work. The youtuber even published a rap clip in which he targets EA.

In the meantime, he has passed on the competing soccer simulation PES, to the delight of his editor Konami, or not …
