The first weekend of the famous Californian Coachella festival was to end this Sunday with the (too) rare Frank Ocean. But even the most hyped music event on the plant did not survive the coronavirus. At least not in April. Coachella was shifted in the fall. The event will take place from October 9-11 and October 16-18.
To keep its hundreds of thousands of festival-goers forced to change their plans, Goldenvoice, the organizer, reserved a little surprise for them by revealing on YouTube Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert, a documentary on 20 years of festival, Indio, in the Californian desert, 200 km from Los Angeles.
The opportunity to discover exclusive images from the backstages and to (re) see anthological performances, some of which have marked the history of music.
