The famous rental platform has decided to tackle the wild festivals that take place without the knowledge of the owners of the place, after some of them had draped across the Atlantic.

To remedy this, Airbnb encourages hosts to use devices that monitor the noise level in the home, but do not record sounds, the company said at vice.com. The platform offers discounts on three of the best products on the market. These devices are used to alert owners if something unusual happens while protecting the privacy of guests.

Airbnb specifies that tenants will be notified if such devices are installed. But security experts point to the risk that these devices will collect more data than necessary or be hacked.
