13-year-old girl and woman die in car-truck accident on Sofia-Samokov road

Accident between a car and a heavy goods vehicle happened this afternoon on the Sofia-Samokov road, bTV learned. There is a dead child.

The incident took place near the Stenata restaurant. According to information from the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs there are two victims. Traffic is currently being diverted through the villages of Bistrica and Zheleznitsa.

The signal was given at 16:40 and the ambulances are arrived at the ninth minute – one comes from Samokov and the other from Sofia.

The 13-year-old girl and the woman traveling with him died on the spot, specified for bTV by the Ministry of the Interior. The driver is in very serious critical condition.

The truck driver was uninjured and is currently taking a breathalyzer test. He is being tested for drug use.

Minutes ago, a fire truck arrived at the scene of the accident. Sheet metal is cutto eject the driver. Checking for more casualties.
