NEW YORK – A party inside a “sex dating” club, operating Saturday night inside a state-designated yellow zone, was dismantled after a report was made to NYC311 of an alleged party, said the sheriff’s office.
Agents responded to the illicit party in Astoria, Queens, shortly after 12:00 a.m. Sunday morning. At least 80 people were found inside the place.
Two organizers and a client were charged with multiple misdemeanors, the sheriff’s office said. The property owner faces a fine of $ 15,000.
The Astoria neighborhood recently entered the Yellow Zone under the New York State Contagion Risk Places approach. In this area, meetings are limited to 25 people.
“Deputy Sheriffs also observed 3 couples having sex in a small room and the place did not have a liquor license or special permit from the New York State Liquor Authority to sell or store alcohol,” the office said in a report on Sunday.
