Hey.
I currently have an iPhone 7 Plus. Of course I use WhatsApp and, since my new iPhone arrives today, I want to transfer the old chats to the new cell phone.
For WhatsApp itself I use the iCloud (so I regularly make a backup in the iCloud)
My question would be:
Under WhatsApp there is a point called “change number”. Do I have to use this to transfer my chats to the new cell phone or is the backup in the cloud sufficient and I just have to log into the new cell phone with the same Apple ID, install WhatsApp and then have my chats?
Would be nice if someone could explain that to me again 🙂
