On September 24, the journalists of the Scheme program published an investigation that Metropolitan lawyer Konstantin Boyko received ownership or storage of a number of hydraulic structures in the capital. According to media reports, he did it through the police – told law enforcement officers that he had found “lost property rights” to 16 hydraulic structures and offered himself as the custodian of the “find.” Police in response transferred the property rights to these 16 objects to him for safekeeping.

On the basis of the letter from the police, the businessman was able to register 11 objects “on the right of storage”. He has already re-registered three of them on the right of ownership and resold to his company “Ukrainian Bureau of River Ports”. Among them are the rights to Obolonsky Island.
