After several weeks of stoppage due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the ballet of planes resumed in the Lyon sky.

St Exupéry Airport reopened on Monday morning, with flights to Nantes, Toulouse and Bordeaux.

In all, Air France must offer eleven destinations from Lyon. The connections to Brest, Biarritz, Caen, Lille, Nice, Rennes and Strasbourg will be effective from June 15. The city of Pau will be served from June 22. Each destination will be served 3 times a week on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

For its part, the company Twin Jet will add two additional destinations from June 15, to Zurich and Stuttgart, at the rate of two flights per week. Just like Air Corsica which will again serve Corsica, at the rate of four flights per week to Bastia and Ajaccio.

“A recovery is essential for the territories and the populations”, according to the direction of St Exupéry airport.

As a reminder, the wearing of a mask is compulsory for passengers (from 11 years old) and hydro-alcohol gel terminals will be made available. The flows will be managed to reduce the density in the different spaces. Passengers will also have to respect the physical distance in the queues, which will be ensured through the installation of markings on the ground.
