Covesia.com – The smartphone brand from China, Realme, on Wednesday (10/14/2020), presented a new cellphone that is the highest type in the C series, namely Realme C17, which is said to have improved in terms of performance.
Unlike its predecessor C series which was powered by the Mediatek chipset, Realme C17 is armed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 processor. The new Snapdragon 460 was introduced to the public in early 2020, which is equipped with high performance with low power efficiency.
Meanwhile, continuing the tradition of the C series, the Realme C17 packs a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology. Here’s how the Realme C17 compares with other phones of comparable performance.
Realme C17
Equipped with Snapdragon 460, the performance of Realme C17 is also supported by a large storage capacity, namely 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The device is also equipped with a 6.5-inch screen that has a 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz sampling rate.
In terms of cameras, Realme C17 has a quad-camera setup with a 13MP main camera, an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens and B&W Portrait lens, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Comes with Navy Blue and Lake Green color variants, Realme C17 is priced at IDR 2,799 million, with a Flash Sale price of IDR 2,699 million.
Oppo A33
Oppo, in early October, launched the Oppo A33 which is also equipped with Snapdragon 460. Having a price of Rp. 500,000 lower than Realme C17, the Oppo A33 is only equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
Armed with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, the Oppo A33 also has a screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate.
The device carries a 13MP main camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP bokeh camera, as well as an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Oppo A33 is sold both online and offline throughout the Oppo sales network at a price of Rp. 2,299 million.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9
In early June, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 9 which can be said to have comparable performance to the Realme C17.
The kitchen runway of the Redmi Note 9 is filled with the MediaTek Helio G85 series chip, using a choice of 3GB and 4GB RAM, as well as 64GB and 128GB ROM, which can be expanded with a memory card up to 512GB.
For the camera, this phone carries a quad-camera with a 48MP wide-angle main lens, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth lens, and a 13MP front camera.
The performance of the Redmi Note 9 is also supported with a large capacity of 5,020mAh with an 18W fast charger. This phone is marketed starting at IDR 2,499 million for the 4GB + 64GB version and IDR 2,899 million for the 6GB + 128GB version.
Samsung Galaxy A21s
In early June, Samsung also released the Galaxy A21s by immersing the latest Exyons 850 processor for entry-level power optimization.
The Galaxy A21s comes in two variants, namely 3GB and 6GB RAM, and 32GB and 64GB ROM, which can be expanded up to 512GB. The performance of the device is also supported by a 5,000mAh battery.
For the camera, this device has been equipped with a four-lens configuration, with a 48MP main lens, an 8MP 123-degree ultra-wide lens, a 2MP lens and a 2MP macro lens, and a 13MP front camera.
