In connection with the lawsuit between Epic Games and Apple, the former company has chosen to quote a number of emails from Eddy Cue, Phil Schiller and Craig Federighi, reports Appleinsider.
In the email, the three Apple heights discuss plans to make it possible to use Imessage on Android as well, but they conclude that it would be more harmful than good for the company in the end.
With Imessage, it is possible to send messages for free, but it only works with Apple devices. The same goes for Facetime, the software that allows you to use video and voice calls.

The purpose of quoting the email is to show that Apple is doing everything it can to try to prevent users from switching to another platform. This in turn is an example of how the company strives to create a monopoly, something that Epic Games says it wants to fight.
