Feb 25 (Reuters) – US health authorities reported Tuesday that they have started the first clinical trial of the antiviral drug Remdesivir, of the Gilead Sciences group, in hospitalized patients with the coronavirus
The first patient in the trial with experimental medicine is an American who was repatriated after being in quarantine on the Diamond Princess cruise. The study is being conducted at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, according to the National Institutes of Health.
