Demand for the veil was placed by a Chinese businessman living in the USA on the condition that it be completed by the end of 2020 and will be the most luxurious product of its kind.

“You can’t buy everything with money, but if you want a really luxurious product that will attract attention and also protect against covid-19, I think we are the right ones and the owner will be satisfied,” the designer and owner of the company told AP Isaac Levy of Jerusalem.

However, practicality goes a long way when designing such a luxury product. The owner will have to come to terms with the fact that the veil will be relatively heavy. It should weigh about 270 grams.

“I wouldn’t want to walk in a mask like that myself, but I have to suffer for beauty,” adds Levy.
