THE BALL – ‘Red devils’ tie at Stamford Bridge (see goals) (England)

Manchester United drew at Stamford Bridge, to a ball, having even scored first, by Jadon Sancho (50′), taking advantage of a bad field of ball by Jorginho.

On 64′, Jorginho, with a penalty, restored the tie, following a childhood error by Aaron Wan-Bissaka who, when trying to clear a ball inside the defence, gave a full kick to Thiago Silva.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who started on the bench, came on in the 64th minute, and got a yellow card on 90+2′. Bruno Fernandes started, left in the 89′, to make way for Van de Beek.

Diogo Dalot, Wan-Bissaka’s usual substitute, did not leave the bench.

With this result, Manchester United is ranked 8th, with the same 18 points as Brighton (9th) and Leicester (10th) while Chelsea remains in the lead, with a point more than the second, Manchester City.
